Two teams from the 2017 Designing Solutions for Poverty Competition will attend the annual event
We are pleased to announce that two teams, Loy Loy and Syntr, have been accepted to attend this year’s Clinton Global Initiative University (CGI U).
- Loy Loy seeks to enable better savings practices and a more complex understanding of the social and economic dynamics of poverty via an innovative financial education boardgame. Loy Loy was selected as a finalist in the 2017 Competition.
- Syntr seeks to provide an affordable, point-of-care therapeutic for diabetic foot ulcer patients by utilizing a small amount of the patient’s own body fat. Syntr was selected as a semi-finalist in the 2017 Competition.
Each year, CGI U brings together students, leaders, and experts to discuss innovative solutions to the world’s problems. This year’s meeting will take place at Northeastern University in October. Read more at the CGI U website.
